But you just do not know where to beginning? Well look no further!

We help provide opportunities for high school/college students, Company Give Back Days, non-felony probation(restrictions do apply), Youth Work Programs, Welfare Transition, family bond builds, or if you just want to give back!

We would love to host volunteers like you at our Dundee & Winter Haven ReStores

Tuesdays through Saturdays beginning at

10 am!

1st time Restore volunteers: Mandatory Orientations: We will go over rules/guidelines, tour, schedule any additional days needed, train on floor.

Orientation Days & Times:

Wednesdays:10am-2pm (Winter Haven/Dundee alternating weeks)

You must complete orientation to schedule additional days.

To become a volunteer, click Volunteer Registration Form to download registration form and email to clarissa@habitateastpolk.org or stop into our Restore locations. You can return those forms by email, mail, or dropping off at one of our Restore locations. Please provide a copy of a valid photo id. Student ids are accepted as long as it is valid and current for the attending school year. Please provide a 1 week turnaround for approvals or denials. Approvals or denials will be communicated through email. Volunteers must be approved prior to participation on construction work-sites or Restores.

You choose how long or often you volunteer!

Whether you’re a skilled crafts person or an untrained volunteer, working Mon-Fri 9-5, or are currently unemployed we could use your help. We’ll give you the opportunity to experience first hand “that no one can do everything but everyone can do something“. Men and women are encouraged to lend a helping hand. Age restrictions do apply and please contact us for more details.

We welcome volunteers Tuesday through Saturday

ReStore Hours:

Tuesday through Saturday – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (shifts are in 3-4 hour blocks depending on the need, 6-8 hour shifts available per approval.)

Shifts at both restores: 4 hour shifts: 10-2, 11-3, 12-4, 1-5 (we can modify hours as needed.) Shifts prior to 10 am are based on store needs and are scheduled upon manager request.

Store clerks are needed to process inventory and assist customers.
Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays to assist in processing donations for pick up and delivery
Habitat’s “ReStores” are located at 3550 Recker Highway in SW Winter Haven (S. R. 655) and 27985 US HWY 27 Dundee, FL

Construction Sites

(Contact Clarissa, Volunteer Coordinator to schedule a day to volunteer at a site near you! )

Work at construction sites begins at 8:00 a.m and lasts until 12:00 p.m. Depending upon weather conditions, the task for the day, and the number of volunteers we may leave early if done or stay later to finish up. Each site is supervised by an experienced Habitat Volunteer Site Foreman and/or Habitat Staff Project Manager.
Habitat for Humanity provides you with everything you need to help build! If you have a favorite hammer or tool belt you like to use bring it with you! Hats are recommended and sun screen is encouraged. Please see the dress code requirements on the back of the volunteer registration form. Drinking water and toilet provisions are provided at every site.
Some homes are available to build at during the week. If you are busy on the weekend and still want to help we can find a site for you. For large groups of 5-10 special accommodations can be made. We will gladly work with your schedule. Please contact us to schedule.
